The Bremerton Elks Lodge #1181 will host an Elks Soccer Shoot on Sunday September 12, 2010 at the Elks Lodge on Pine Road. The event will be from 12 PM to 3 PM. This event is for boys and girls from Bremerton and all of Kitsap County. Age groups are: 7 and under (U8), 8 & 9 (U10), 10 & 11 (U12) and  12 & 13 (U14) as of August 1, 2010.

There is a “Five Goal” contest for ages 9 and under where the contestant shoots at goals of various widths, the narrower the goal the higher the score with 3 shots at each goal. For ages 10 through 13 there is a “Grid Goal” contest where a regulation size goal is divided up and each grid opening has a point value with each contestant getting 15 shots.

The winners will advance to the Washington State Elks Association State Soccer Shoot which will be held in October at the Bremerton Elks Lodge #1181. Last year several local winners advanced to the state competition.

Upcoming Tracyton Soccer Club Fundraising Activities (September/October)

Tracyton Soccer Club has awesome fundraising activites planned for the next few months.  Come on out and support us as we raise money for additional player clinics, new equipement and most importantly... HELPING KEEP OUR REGISTRATION FEES LOW!

September Activity:  TSC McTakeover is back!  Wednesday the 15th, 6-8 PM, East Bremerton/Meadowdale (In front of Wal-Mart). Volunteers needed: Email  Nikki Palmer  or by phone @ (360) 779-5700 if you can HELP!

October Activity:  Corn Maze returns!   October 1st-3rd (Friday 4 PM-Dark, Saturday 9 AM-Dark, and Sunday 12-6PM) Minder Farms (Highway 303) is once again hosting a Tracyton Soccer Club night (3 nights in all)!  Don't forget to wear your Tracyton colors or mention that you are with Tracyton and gain entrance at the kid rate of $6. Minder Meats will also have special purchase packages for Tracyton Soccer Club families on the website, located HERE.

Interested in Face painting?  TSC would love to have your artistic skills during the Corn Maze Experience! Come on out and volunteer to haircoloring and face painting one, two, or all three days!  Also, needed is two canopies for the face painting and haircoloring stations.  Email Nikki Palmer to for more volunteer opportunities!

Soccer To The Maxx! 

Soccer to the Maxx is a jamboree for U7-U10 Boys and Girls teams that are registered with WSYSA.  Teams are guaranteed 3 games in the jamboree. This Jamboree is in honor of Maxxine Burns, a long time volunteer for youth soccer.

Fees for the Jamboree are:

U7  $75    U8  $100   U9  $110  U10 $125

Included in the registration are 3 games, a t-shirt for each player, two coach t-shirts and pins for all participants.  Registration must be turned in no later than September 17th.

B/G U09 & B/G U10 on Sunday October 3rd (Week 4 of the Rec Season)

Turf Field Being Installed At Gordon!

Sooner than you can imagine (well, maybe not), Gordon Field #1 (parallel to the parking lot) will be turned into turf.   Field size will be 71 yds wide X 120 yds long.  Construction will start following the Fair, and is expected to be completed in late January.
